Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting and managing of all engineering projects from conception to completion.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines those projects involve. Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, and personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects.
Interacting daily with the clients/dealers about their needs and requirements on the project.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals.
Report work progress and budget matters to clients.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
Select subcontractors and schedule and coordinate their activities.
Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems.
Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Reports to owner, architects and portfolio managers about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated. Plans, implements, tracks and closeout / turnover of construction projects. Conducts project meetings.
Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken.
Other tasks as to be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree WITH Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam) in Civil Engineering.
3-4 Years full-time experience as project engineer
Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
Knowledge on Structural Engineering
Must be good in MS Excel
Good oral and written communication
Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
Leadership skills
Attention to detail; Can work with minimal supervision
Dedicated to work
Self Motivated and self-disciplined
