TYLin's Philippine Branch was founded in Manila in 2021. The branch office is working on a high-profile and one of the biggest infrastructure projects of the Philippine Government. The Philippine Branch office envisions itself to become a major industry player by promoting its services to various sectors.
Our Philippine Branch office is seeking a Project Engineer for bridge projects.
This position will report to the Dante Bautista, Office Director, and will require 3 to 7 years of experience in engineering and encoding. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting and monitoring project schedules; monitoring cost-related matters pertaining to the project; and performing peer review of submittals to the clients (communications, reports, drawings, invoices, and others).
Responsibilities
Contribute to the overall project management including, but not limited to coordination with the inter-disciplinary members of the team; interpret and monitor project schedules; monitor cost-related matters pertaining to the project; and perform peer review of submittals to the clients (communications, reports, drawings, invoices, and others).
The project engineer must possess good communications skills to develop documents such as: meeting minutes; site activity reports; progress reports; among other technical reports.
Coordinate with the project management team and support project execution by assisting in encoding, design check, quality check, and completeness of submittals; and,
Perform other related activities as identified by the Project Manager or his deputy.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
Professional Engineer License required.
At least 3- 7 years of experience with design standards and codes.
Experience in the execution of principles and codes.
Requires knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
Strong technical skills in project management.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings required.
Ability to communicate clearly (written and oral).
Field experience is desired.
Knowledge of meeting design schedules and budgets.
Must possess communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective project team collaboration and relationship building.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
