Job Description
The main role of the Project Engineer is to work on infrastructure projects of the company under the direct supervision of Project Manager. He/ She is required to have extensive familiarity with the mathematical principles of engineering, design, estimate, and project management including environment, health and safety management. He/ She should be highly accurate with the work output and should possess excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Project Management – Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects
Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications
Develop cost estimates and provide budget oversight for materials and personnel based on documents and project plans. In some cases, may work with other members of the project team to review bids and examine supplier costs to determine the best prices for project materials and personnel, and making recommendations to project leaders about vendors and suppliers.
Site Inspection - make periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and construction codes. Prepares a report about site conditions and progress and reports their findings to the project engineer
Perform other developmental roles and assignments that may be assigned from time to time
 
Project Engineer Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
A valid engineering license
At least 4 years of field and project planning experience
Experience in preparing project cost estimates
Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software
The ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Excellent project management and supervision skills
Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
Willingness to travel
