The Project Engineer will be assigned in the following:
The Project Engineer is an integral member of the Strategic Projects Management Group responsible for Projects management to sustain and support the Feeds Business' growth and thrust in terms of building new facilities, applying the best process technologies, and developing processes for new products. The position will help in controlling of project activities, under the direction of Project site managers.
A. Pre-Construction
Assists the manager in planning, organizing, implementing and controlling activities of contractors directly involve in project implementation.
Monitors work in progress and prepares observation reports.
Prepares compliance monitoring reports for regulatory requirements
Consolidates reports of all work packages for management reference.
B. Construction Phase
Conduct regular inventory of equipment (in crates) while still in storage.
Prepare equipment list and proper tagging for asset list reference.
Prepare critical spare parts with corresponding useful life and re-order level
Identify special tools required during operation and maintenance for ordering
Regularly conducts on-site inspection of project site based approved time tables, specifications, scope of works and other details
Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of inspection procedures in all stages of construction phase
Performs process audits. Coordinates and monitor the implementation of effective corrective actions to correct observed non-compliances
C. Commissioning And Turn-Over
Attests product quality and material testing as required by site managers.
Compilation of all documents, drawings and as built plans for the project
Work side-by-side with Buhler engineers during installation and commissioning
Work as feedmill technician during initial stage of operation and performance testing.
Conducts test runs and detailed inspection of completed facilities according to specs and scope of works.
Monitors initial run of the new plant until it reaches the desired output based on set parameters
D. General Engineering
Ensures that program/project activities are carried out in compliance with National and Local government regulations, laws and standards.
E. Strategic Projects Development and Management
Ensures project completion on time and on budget.
Represents the Office in coordinating intra and interagency in formulating agreement for joint efforts in developing new projects.
Prepares report on updates about the project on a regular basis.
Conducts plant audits, recommend solutions for the findings and non-conformances in accordance to SMFI standards, Government regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
The Project Engineer must possess the following qualifications:
Candidate must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.
Experience in project management is preferred.
Proficiency in various Microsoft and computer applications such as word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, and the like is required.
Must be open to provincial assignments.
