Project Engineer ( electrical & auxiliary)Sparc Properties and Realty Corporation

Primary Purpose of the Position
This position provides the coordinating and controlling function at the project site in the fields of Mechanical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Electrical for the proper and timely completion of the project within the established budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible and focused on the technical details of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical works of the project.
* Implements the Construction Project Management (CPM) Plan for the Project and ensures that the contractors and suppliers comply with the established procedures and instructions ensuring the expeditious implementation and timely delivery of the project.
* Inspects the mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical components of the project.
* Monitors the quality assurance and inspection works being conducted by the Contractor's Quality Control.
* Performs quality assurance and quality control on all works and materials of contractors and suppliers through daily construction observation and inspection.
* Conducts regular project walk-thru together with the contractor to check on the progress of works and spot potential problems in terms of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical make-up.
* Monitors strict compliance to all government and private rules and regulations regarding Mechanical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Electrical works.
* Conduct plant and off-site inspections to monitor the progress of work and ensure timely delivery of material to the site; prepares weekly and monthly progress reports for endorsement to PM.
* Advice the Project Management (PM), Owner/Developer, and the contractors of any constraints and critical factors that may be a cause for delay in the completion of the project and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Handles the administrative aspects of bidding, negotiation, and award of contract packages.
* Handles Design Addenda, Project Manager's Instructions (PMI), Requests for Information (RFI), Substitution Request (SUR), and the like in cases necessary for proper contract management.
Job Specifications:
· Engineering Degree Holder with PRC Registration
· Familiar with Basic Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
· With at least a Minimum of 3 years of Related Experience or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a PRC license.
· Willing to be assigned to province specifically Boracay
