Job Summary
/ Mission:
Design and Configure the CoLOS/Systech software solutions for a customer project
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
-Configuration of a customer project based on solution architecture design
-Configuration of CoLOS solution based on Mark & Read (Vision System) and CAT template (Packaging Integrity, Product Tracking) and performs the User Acceptance Testing
-Configuration of Systech Solution (Product Traceability, Product Unique Identification) and performs the User Acceptance Testing;
-Assist in the definition of the technical specifications of a customer project; and help determining any technical risk
-Be a subject matter expert for the configured software solution
-Assist the customer service support engineer on escalated issue regarding the configured/developed solution
-Maintain strong communication with the project manager, solution architect and business analyst
Position/Job Requirements:
-Ability to interpret requirements and develop associated logical process flows.
-Implement interfaces with external systems; through OPC.
-Perform system tests on the complete solution.
-Support install and commission the solution in conjunction with the project team
-Provide technical and support documentation (user manual, technical manual)
-Provide technical training on the solution to our customers
-Escalate issues to the project engineering lead/project manager when appropriate
-Support pre-sales activities including defining the detailed customer needs when required
Education/Training Required:
-A BS degree in an industrial engineering or computer science related discipline.
Work Experience Required:
-Proven track record of installing and configuring custom software solutions across multiple sites and or countries; preferably from manufacturing and warehouse; dealing with real data management, integration of different devices (PLC, Scada) and ERP system (SAP, Oracle) and Vision System (Inspection and Verification)
-Knowledge of coding equipment is a plus (Labeler and Label Template Design)
-ISO9001 experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills:
Must have:
-.NET architecture (Microsoft Workflow or Visual Basic process flow programming tool)
-MS SQL Databases and ODBC
-SQL Report Services
-Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus
Some understanding of:
-Communication with PLC systems and OPC
-TCP/IP
-MS SQL OS/Windows OS
-Microsoft Office applications skills
