Job Description
The Project Electrical Engineer is responsible for the management of the execution phase until completion of the project/s ensuring that each task is finished according to quality standards, identifying structural problems, providing sound solutions for any technical issues, addressing issues with any contractor/s in a timely way, following strict budget guidelines regarding materials and work hours and acting as the principal technical advisor to contractors and crafts people.
I. Project Management
Lead the "Permit to Work" process for contractors and all In-House workers.
Participate in engineering package reviews during the select, define and execute phases of projects and provide constructive input to the Project team.
Encourage construction and operations personnel to review design packages early in the course of projects to eliminate rework and optimize construction. * Anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field to eliminate costly rework or retesting.
Coordinate with end user and/or project owner to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and accepted and ensure agreement on environmental and safety work plans.
Provide input into the scheduling of projects to meet the end user's and/project owner's required deadline and maintain construction resources to acceptable levels.
Monitor progress to ensure scheduling milestones are understood and are being met.
Ensure equipment and manpower resources are being used efficiently.
Review contractor work performance and project status updates and ensure to provide accurate updates and other relevant informations to Project Technical Support Engineer
Evaluate and recommend progress billing and other billing-related matters and coordinate it to the Project Engineer.
Perform efficient and timely Turn over procedure at the completion of the project.
Other: Assist in the maintenance of infrastructure and equipment facilities.
Qualifications
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience
Willing to work around NCR area
