Acting as a business partner to the relevant business manager. Responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project's performance. Can be assigned to multiple medium-sized project or to a single large project in the Electrification, Distribution business in Paranaque City, Philippines. Reporting to the Lead Business Area Controller and Country Finance Manager, you will give input on the financial aspects of project execution plans and help to prepare project invoices and financial accounting and reporting.
Your responsibilities
Reviewing and taking joint responsibility with Tender Manager on financial, commercial and tax aspects
Ensuring that tender calculation is done correctly, preparing cash-flow and exposure curve
Participating or providing input to negotiations on contractual terms and conditions (clients, consortia, subcontractors, suppliers). Participates and provides input in local risk review process
Ensuring alignment with other functions, including project controls and planning/scheduling
Providing help in claim management, back charges and insurance cases, and monitoring proper follow-up
Helping to ensure adherence to corporate governance, rules and regulation, guidelines, and instructions
Your background
2 to 5 years of experience in depth knowledge of Project Controlling in a matrix style organization
Proficient with MS Word, Excel
Demonstrated business acumen and influencing skills. Skills Strong Business Partnering & communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or BS related course
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask
A team-based, solution-focused approach and strong written and verbal communication skills
