Responsibilities:
A project architect is generally a junior position in an architect's office that is held by a licensed architect. He/She understands building codes and construction processes.
He/She performs administrative and professional architectural work by managing projects from inception to construction. Provides leadership to a project and the project design team - consisting of architects, engineers and designers -- and coordinates with outside consultants in the design of the construction projects. He/She serves as the liaison between the design team and the supervisors, engineers and construction workers.
Responsible for supervising and participating in preliminary studies and estimates of proposed building projects and in the design and preparation of complete alteration and repair plans for existing buildings.
· Plan and prepare construction drawings and specifications of project.
· Assist in the hiring of architectural and engineering consultants for capital outlay projects.
· Supervise and review the work of architectural and mechanical designers and other personnel involved in the project.
· Coordinate the ordering of material and equipment for repair and alteration projects and new construction.
· Supervise and participate in the preparation and maintenance of cost records which are used in preparing cost estimation of new projects.
· Confer with principals regarding proposed construction and alteration programs and plans.
Requirements:
· B.S. Degree in Architecture.
· Licensed architect is an advantage.
· 2-3 years experience in the architectural planning and design.
· Knowledge of all applicable codes and regulator agency guidelines.
· Considerable knowledge of the modern principles and practices of architecture.
· Solid experience leading a design and production team on projects.
· Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
· Team player.
· Ability to work under strict deadlines.
· Detail oriented.
· Strong communication and supervisory skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Strong graphics and computer skills (Computer Aided Design Software, Photoshop, 3D Software).
· Applicants must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa or anywhere in the Philippines.
