The Opportunity
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking candidate to join our established and growing team in the Philippines.
As a Project Accountant, you will undertake and coordinate activities in relation to all phases of project management and reporting You will also act as a key business partner facilitating the essential flow of information between the Management and project delivery teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing of contract value, amendments and variations to contract values, cost plan adjustments and reallocations, budget transfers, and project financial close
Coordinating day-to-day financial transactions at the project level. This may include project set up, cost code maintenance, sub consultant claim, PO reconciliations, procurement support, and invoice payment workflow approval
Maintaining project master data in all relevant systems including project codes, project level cost codes.
Assisting with monthly project budget reviews with project managers and provide the expenditure reforecasts as an input to month-end reporting processes.
Updating of cash flow forecasting for each project to feed into company cash flow forecasts.
Preparing monthly management reporting on all project related activities.
Establishing effective compliance to financial policies and procedures
Acting as a key liaison between Finance and the business for project accounting related information.
About you
You have a relevant degree qualification. With extensive experience in a full range of project accounting. With Oracle or other ERP systems experience. Preferably CPA or similar qualification. You will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
