Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Handle project accounting transactions such as billing, revenue recognition and credit/debit note adjustment
Handle processing of credit notes and debit note adjustment of other transaction types; including but not limited to Standard and Service;
Handle processing of intercompany recharges;
Generate monthly reports from Oracle and ensures accuracy of data
Prepare reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts AR Trade, Unbilled Projects, Unbilled Intercompany, Unearned Project Revenue, Customer Advances, WIP
Handle month-end closing of Accounts receivable and Project accounting modules;
Prepare monthly closing journals on Pre-mat, Inter BU reclassification, remaining WIP on closed projects, FX adjustment Prepare journals for the reviewed and approved revenue & cost accruals and PMR. Prepare report for Negative WIP adjustment journal for AP Team.
Follow up unshipped lines not yet transacted in the system and revenue recognition requests for lines already billed but not yet revenue recognized;
Execute approved project re-opening task in Oracle; Coordinate with other Finance teams (AP, FR) to adjust transactions wrongly tagged or not tagged to projects, such as PPV, invalid future costs, etc;
Ensure compliance to all ABL reporting requirements, external and internal audit, and SOX requirements
Background/Experience Required :
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy & preferably with CPA qualification
Intermediate level in Excel & average level in MS applications of expertise is required
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in Project or Cost Accounting
Good english proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Analytical, self-starter, results oriented & ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
