We are looking for a talented programmer to create a secure and functional code. You may have to provide quality coding solutions both for simple applications and complex information or operating systems.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and software building. Attention to detail and an analytical mind are essential qualities for a successful career in programming.
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs
Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes
Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language
Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desired results and performs debugging when necessary
Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
Set up and configure new computer systems in the local office and assist end users in setting up remotely. This includes monitors, docking stations, keyboard/mice, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot office and end-user network problems in the local office, remote offices, remote users, and also coordinate preventative maintenance of equipment.
Participate in the training of users on the use of systems - network, hardware, and software.
Responsible for maintaining the LAN network operations, including limited hardware and software installation and set-up, documentation, administration, and maintenance.
Ensure software installations and upgrades are implemented on end-user systems, as per Business Solutions and IT management.
Any/all other job duties as defined by IT management.
Candidate must be a graduate/bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or computer sciences management/information systems from an accredited college or university
At least 2-3 years experience in computer systems analysis, and/ or IT Desktop support
Great communication skills
Knowledge of basic arithmetic
MS Office proficient
Excellent knowledge with relational databases, MS Access, Visual Basic 6, SQL & Qliksense
Drupal, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, and PHP not required but will be an advantage
Effective interpersonal skills
