Responsible and accountable for coordinated management of multiple related projects directed towardsstrategic business and organizational objectives in high quality manner. These programs contain complexactivities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions and cultures.
What will your job look like?
1. Overall accountability and responsibility for all Program Management Office domains: Scope, Time, Cost,Quality, Change, HR, Communication, Risk, Procurement and Integration.
2. Manages the overall program scope and maintain its continuous alignment with strategic businessobjectives. Sets the program plan and make recommendations to modify the plan when necessary. Setspriorities, ensures optimization and resolves conflicts to enhance effectiveness toward the business resultor strategic intent.
3. Defines projects. Assign project managers to initiate and manage the performance of component projects.Integrates and oversees multiple related projects.
4. Ensures alignment of all projects under his/her supervision with standards and program managementmethodology, including compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Ensures an effective and engaged program team, usually without direct authority, by providing ongoingguidance and mentorship. Ensures the delivery of program results in full.
6. Builds credibility relationships and maintains communication with stakeholders at various levels, bothinternal and external.
7. Secures budget and timeline. Determines and coordinates the sharing of resources among the constituentprojects to the overall benefit of the program.
8. Leads and facilitates periodic status and risk discussions with program stakeholders. Evaluates anddiscusses program results and lessons learned throughout the program lifecycle.
9. Oversees the program's closure, integrating all relevant components.
10. Governs and resolves risks as well as the most complex issues effecting program delivery across thedifferent content disciplines (e.g. , SW development, SW Testing, Infrastructure for SW developmentprograms or real estate or other corporate domains in other cases)
All you need is...
Minimum 10 years' experience in project management domain, with at least 4 years of managing large projects
Experience and knowledge in several key domains relevant to the program
B.A/B.Sc. degree, global equivalent or higher
PGMP certification
