APAC Transition & Project Portfolio Lead (Program Manager)Summary:
Core objective is to take accountability for and drive the overall success of the company. To coordinate and manage on the project/program level the global finance and transition projects/programs including scheduling, integration, scope, risk, quality, people management on projects/programs, stakeholders, communications, and cost management. Tasks and Responsibilities:
Skills to manage complexity on the program, systemic level
Support the Team members with delivering Transition and/or finance/optimization projects based on project management best-practices, knowledge and experience;
Understand the business needs, company's specific business environment,
Define business requirements and develop the relevant skills and capability in the team,
Act as a liaison for all the Transition and Finance Projects, key Stakeholders and Departments impacting or being impacted by the projects
Manage the communication for Transition and/or Finance/Optimization Projects with key Stakeholders
Manage the change and assess the risks and be able to implement proper mitigation plan where required on the program level;
Report the progress and status of the Transition and/or Finance/Optimization Projects , and risks that occur
Support the Team with the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures, if required.
Ensure that additional process improvements opportunities for possible implementation after the Transition and/or Finance/Optimization Projects Closure are identified and documented by the Team members
Coordinate the training of site personnel in the respected countries or/ and SSC employees and workshops with APAC sub-regions and/or single countries
Support the team members with seamless transfer of business processes from local sites to the Shared Services Centre at all stages
Manage the team of Project Manager including recruitment, setting objectives, performance evaluation, supporting people development
Manage and utilize Program Team's resources across projects Skills and Qualifications:
Project or Program Management certification- preferred
Functional related post graduate education (PhD, MBA) is a plus
Min.7 years of professional experience of which min. 4 years working on projects /program , preferably on transition or /and finance re-structuring projects
A passionate leader and team-player
Experience of leading a team of individuals having relatively independent roles
Experience with finance processes transitions/ finance restructuring is an advantage
Knowledge of accounting principles is a big advantage
Excellent communication skills
Very good planning and organizational skills
Proactive, self-driven individual, problem-solver, self-developer, strategic thinker
Ability to work independently in ambiguous, dynamic environment
Ability/willingness to travel (20-50% of the time)
Fluency in English
Knowledge of other languages is a big advantage
Understand and use modern communication software and systems
Strong IT user knowledge (MS Office 365, SAP, Intranet etc.)
Understand basics of data security/protection and related topics
Up-to-date knowledge of IT and digitalization
