JOB SUMMARY
Program Management Specialist is responsible for assisting the PMO Manager oversees the activities of a projects and programs to ensure that the project management processes are executed consistently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in evaluating the progress of the project to ensure the timeline is followed steadily and consistently;
Assists in setting up tools and standards for managing the program;
Planning, tracking, and reporting on outputs and outcomes;
Assists the PMO Manager in monitoring risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
Setting quality control standards and tracking implementation;
Assists the PMO in facilitating performance assessment, monitoring and work planning, project implementation, evaluating performance / results and targets;
Assists in reviewing / preparing the progress performance reports;
Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document;
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program;
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;
Strong leadership and management skills;
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and
The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
Education
Bachelors/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
