Supervise the strategic planning and general management of the General Education Cluster for the Academics Department
Ensure that the school is compliant with CHED CMOs and other government regulations and policies that relate to the General Education, NSTP and Physical Education subjects
Create regular reports and updates for the Management Committee and School Board
Oversee the formation, implementation and evaluation of plans and programs for development and the coordination of activities and services for the advancement of goals and objectives of the institution
Identify and establish strategic network linkages that would prove helpful to the implementation of the program and the industry readiness of its students and graduates
Undertake periodic curriculum review, revision, and development with the assistance of the faculty members in the various General Education subjects involved
Ensure that the development of soft skills and values are deeply integrated in all college programs and/or subjects to make students and graduates industry-ready
Participate in all operational matters involving the academic team such as but not limited to the assignment of academic load; onboarding and offboarding; performance management; policy, process and systems development and implementation
Participate in the academic council and management committee, and assume the related tasks, initiatives and responsibilities.
Teach course-related subjects (6-9 units per trimester)
Master's or Doctorate Degree in Educational Management or any GE or Humanities - related program
Corporate work experience in Human Resource and other related roles is a plus
Prior background in Liberal Arts and Humanities is a plus for this role
At least 5 - 8 years of extensive experience in formal teaching and/or faculty development
At least 3 - 5 years of extensive experience in Educational Management and Administrative Responsibilities as a Dean or Program Head
Exposure to end-to-end policy creation, implementation and design
Strong relationship-building and business communication skills
Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
Ability to work around new tools and processes is an advantage
