WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Responsible for search of opportunities to sustain performance of production with support of AM/PM roll-out, analysis of key data of production KPIs (NTM yield, tobacco yield, reject ratio, OEE). Ensures the works of AM/PM program are well organized and exceuted in order to provide optimal utilization of production capacity, high quality products and maintaining safety. Collaborates with MP and Maintenance Managers for smooth transition and full implementation of AM/PM program. Ensure proper organization and resources allocation of production analysts group, business meaning of production processes and focus areas. Responsible for building team capability through identifiying high potential candidates, active coaching of them and ensuring that the required training programs are in place.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures timely and effective implementation and roll out of Autonomous Maintenance / Progressive Maintenance (AM/PM) program.
Production processes optimalization and effectiveness improvement according to AM/PM guide lines.
Responsible of monthly KPI Reporting (OEE, Tobacco Yield, NTM Yield, Cig Reject Ratio, Winnower Rejection, Waste Management Reports, Spare Parts consumption etc...)
Generate monthly performance reports by using globally defined calculation methods. Analyse the data and identify improvement needed areas to share with the department and Management Team.
Responsible of analysis of month-end closing reports. Establish effective administration and effective follow up on month-end closing activities. Close the month with common consent of related parties.
Work together with other related production departments (Primary, Affector, Make Pack) and also non-production departments (Engineering, Manufacturing Services, Finance, P&C) to build a logical, realistic and challenging plan during the Annual Strategic Plan (ASP) cycle each year determining and aligning KPI target setting.
Manages AM/PM & Process Analyst teams, ensures their development, creates an effective team. Reviews, organizes and implements internal training plans. Ensures development of potential successors for key positions within the structure.
Makes specific production reports. Responsible for KPI and meeting the targets. Participates in production budget reviews and establishment, responsible for using available budgets.
Plans employment and training within JTI group and with external suppliers.
Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in engineering/finance/management education. Knowledge of technical and technological issues.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a manager of one of production departments or as a Group Leader in an international company.
Experience with production processes optimization and establishment
Administrative and team management skills.
Proficient in English language both oral and written communication.
Knowledge of tobacco industry will be an additional advantage.
