QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Highschool Diploma or above, with printing related subjects is an advantage.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in artwork operation or prepress operation, exposure in packaging industry will be an advantage.
Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop operations, and able to build or amend packaging digital files efficiently and accurately as per project briefs;
Good knowledge of Fonts;
Able to understand and follow corporate or client's brand guidelines and operate within printing limitations;
Knowledge of Esko Automation workflows would be an advantage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reviews job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production. Participate in planning meetings when necessary.
Respects all guidelines and process requirements and maintain brand consistency;
Ensures that all digital files are saved in designated file locations with appropriate document control file naming specifications;
Assures the quality of digital files before submitting to QC with the aims of "Right The First Time";
Ensures all paperwork & tasks are completed in accordance with SGS's best practice approach;
Makes sure familiarity with the assigned client's terminology, brand guidelines and regulations requirements.
QC all work performed following the department's SOPs. Check, sign-off, and date checklists.
Updates the schedulers & Customer Service regarding job status.
Makes sure all jobs and materials are properly charged.
When handing off jobs to co-workers, clearly communicates any information for them to complete the job.
Assists in the development of written procedures as new clients and projects are added.
