JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Line Head position is responsible to analyze the drivers of demand in order to generate and evaluate a forecast for a particular product or service. Prepares and review historical sales trends and maintaining of sales inventory targets for all revenue centers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible in generating stocks to be produced based from sales history to fulfill the demand of all revenue centers;
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast result;
Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems;
Monitor SKU levels and recommends SKU to rationalize in the future;
Coordinate and consensus approach with Sales personnel;
Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory target based on changes in demand and market trends;
Maintaining inventory targets including safety stock levels of all revenue centers.
Performs other tasks as maybe required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, BS Math, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
With at least 2 years experience in a demand planning/ forecasting role.
Experience with sales is a plus.
Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management practices and procedures.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge and keen on details.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills.
Can handle work demands and deadlines.
