Brief Job Description:
The New Product Engineer will be responsible for ensuring ADI's Product Quality and Manufacturability through the definition, development and delivery of the processes, expertise and tools required by the Product Line, for the effective and efficient release of new products. He/ She will be heavily engaged in New Products as early as the Design Phase towards Mass Production, with key responsibilities in the definition and execution of the Characterization and Yield Analysis Plan, analysis of same for Final Test, QC and Datasheet Spec Setting, and analysis and documentation of the Validation/ Inventory Build data. He/ She will also be working with the BU's to overcome Test Limitations, support Customer Facing Documents (PPAP, SafeLaunch Exit Report, etc.), and other post-release activities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Electronics or Electrical Engineering, MS Graduate equivalent is an advantage
At least 5 years related and progressive Semiconductor Manufacturing and NPI (New Product Introduction) experience
Proficient in Product Testing, Statistical Tools (JMP, PDF Exensio Test/Yield), Failure Analysis, and Debug Techniques
Proficient in analysis of both analog and digital circuitry
Strong Project Management, Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
Knowledge in programming languages such as C++, C#, Visual Basic , LabView is an advantage
Good oral and written communication skills
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
