The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for an MPG (Multi market Platform Group) product from conceptualization up to definition through production and release. He/She will be responsible for releasing a validated design to mass production, and will serve as the main interface to design, applications, wafer foundry, assembly, test, evaluation, quality and marketing groups. The roles are as follows: Evaluating reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production. Designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing, evaluating and troubleshooting systems and equipments for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Designing and Executing evaluation test methods to characterize and measure new silicon performance over customer use case and environmental conditions, interpreting the measured data, identifying silicon issues and debugging root cause. Preparing test, evaluation and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures and equipment and completing specifications and procedures for new products. Planning the labor, schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Completing and documenting all testing required to meet product release requirements. Qualifications BS or MS degree in EE and ECE or equivalent relavant experience. Typically requries 2-5 years related and progressive experience. Experience in using lab equipments, ranging from multi meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers etc. Strong knowledge with general IC test and measurement systems and methods. Knowledge in programming language such as Labview, Python, Visual Basic, Matlab and C++ for instrument control and automation. PCB schematic entry and layout. Strong analytical skills. Ability to draw conclusions from complex data sets and summarize and present at a high level. Strong knowledge on statistical analysis. Excellent in oral and written communication skills and the ability to work on large multi discipline development teams. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
