We are currently looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering Team to our manufacturing plant Signify Poland Sp. z o.o located in Piła.
As a member of the Sustaining Engineering Team you will be involved in the design, development and maintenance of new and existing conventional and LED drivers.

What you'll do
Provide design engineering support for dedicated part of portfolio
Provide sustaining engineering support for driver production lines including fast reaction to all design related issues
Actively participate on multi-discipline project teams through all phases of product development
Releasing new components in products, including testing, documentation update and implementation realization.
Design activities including materials and component selection, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), DfX (Design for Excellence), testing and creating documentation
Finding ways to improve product quality and product cost.
Leading or assisting in product verification and approbation activities.
Maintain communication between factory and Global Development Centers
What you'll need
Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering
Knowledge of switch mode power supplies design principles
Practical skills in electronic devices building and testing
Knowledge about electronic components
Basic knowledge of lighting technology
Communicative English (both spoken and written)
Effective communication with different layers of the organization
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing is preferred
