₱ 30,000.00 (monthly) Permanent contract Full Time
The Product Development Specialist shall own the following processes:
Gathering customer and market insights through direct interaction with customer technical teams
Executing the rapid prototyping process, that is converting leads to new products up to commercialization
Working with customers in developing differentiated product specifications and co-creating the new products
Collaborating with technology partners in developing differentiated product capabilities
Conducting product benchmarking with competitors and executing experiments to develop differentiated product capabilities
Executing other product development initiatives aligned with business strategic direction
Reports to the Product Development Manager
Needed Capabilities:
Aptitude: Above average aptitude in Mathematical and Analytical ability
Attitude: Highly curious, courageous and high in critical thinking. Disciplined and speed biased. High entrepreneurial attributes, Growth mindset, fast learner of new technologies
Knowledge-based skills: knowledgeable in transformer application, knowledge of Power systems operation, Working knowledge of electrical equipment design and development, product standards, project management, results oriented, digital savvy. Proficient in design software like Ansys, Solid works or equivalent
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering; Professional License an advantage. Masters degree an advantage
With at least 1 year relevant experience in Development of Electrical Products
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
