Job Description
Qualification and Requirement:
The RAD-Product Development Cosmetic Formulator should have a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or any equivalent. Should have knowledge in cosmetics manufacturing operation, small scale batches, pilot scale batches, chemical, microbiological analysis and know how to prepare technical documents.
 
Job Summary:
The position is mainly responsible for researching, gathering, analyzing, finalizing, encoding, filing necessary data.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct research and prepare formulations for the development of new and existing cosmetic products.
 
Check the availability and request new materials of products for development, product reference sample, equipment and supplies needed by Cosmetic Department.
 
Conduct Trial Batches and Pilot Batches of the products for development.
 
Conducts research on raw materials for product development.
 
Maintains log sheet for proper documentation of products being prepared.
 
Attend seminar related to Product Development and Improvement and/or related to the Department.
 
Responsible for the cleanliness of the working area.  Ensure to adhere to the SOP’s and CGMP’s.
 
Attend to other responsibilities that may be assigned by immediate superior or the management.
