The role
We are looking for a Product Designer who will join us in our mission to solve industry problems through thoughtful and considerate designs. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be actively involved in the full product development lifecycle from early stages of ideation to feature launches and will have a substantial creative freedom to shape the future of the product.
What you'll do
Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver high-quality features and workflows that solve real customer and business problems
Use and evolve our design system to deliver production-ready prototypes and mock-ups for features, as well as drive the overall quality and content of the design system
Through facilitation of workshops, interviews and feedback sessions with our users, learn about their motivations, pains and goals in order to design engaging experiences and practical user interfaces
Turn qualitative and quantitative insights into product concepts of low and high fidelity to test your designs and solicit feedback from users, your team and other stakeholders
Collaborate with Engineering to understand technical constraints, including performance, scalability and feasibility considerations for your designs
Support Product Managers, Engineering and QA during the execution of designs and perform pre-production testing, review and sign-off
About you
You are an experienced Product or User Experience Designer and can showcase your application of the design processes through a portfolio of impactful work
You are passionate about getting out into the field to ask questions, talk to people, deeply understand users and their problems
You have excellent visual design skills and are able to communicate concepts through visual tools, such as storyboards, sketches, wireframes and prototypes of low and high fidelity (we love Figma but are open to you bringing your own toolset)
You are comfortable using standard research and design techniques, such as journey mapping, usability testing, persona analysis, and are able to independently run experiments and conduct testing of your designs
You have experience directly contributing to design systems and are ready to roll up your sleeves to design patterns, components and UI elements
You thrive in collaboration with cross-functional teams, want to learn from everyone in the team and share your own knowledge to promote design thinking across the organisation
