SOLID STEEL (SOLID S&E CO., LTD) seeks an Engineering graduate who will be responsible for assessing Steel supplier’s oversea & local partners according to customer’s materials specification & grade according to standard.
PROCUREMENT ENGINEER
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Must be residence in Davao City
Drivers License with driving experience is and advantage
Computer proficiency: Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) is mandatory
Good communication skills is required
Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Drive, motivation, and positive attitude (willingness to accept feedback, learn, and improve)
Engineering Board Passer is an advantage
Experience/Knowledge of Steel product specifications is an advantage
Fresh Graduate in Engineering is welcome
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:
Assessing order from factory or supplier from oversea & to ensure the material specification and grade is according to client required specification & standard.
Check market current price of Steel from Mill oversea, trader, stockiest & local partners to support Sales team.
Identify technical requirements in order to provide best solution through product technical material specification, products sizes and applications.
Will able to assess the order start from Factory, loading into vessel, up to delivery Point with coordination with our freight forwarder.
Give a timely report to sales team for the delivery schedule of goods.
Generate and review the required current price from Mill/Factory, will be able to calculate using excell (or other softwares) or calculator with the respective price.
Will be able to make quick analysis and quick calculation.
Travel if necessary to perform product inspection according to sizes and material grade & specification.
Will be able to conduct meeting to our suppliers.
NOTE:
For hired candidates will be entitled Health Card Benefit with + (1) dependent after (6) months regularization
