What you'll do:
The Procurement Analyst will support the Procurement Officer in handling all operational requirements of various departments with the objective of acquiring the goods and services at a most cost saving way and topmost quality.
Procurement and Sourcing (50% of time)
- Initially screens all purchase requests submitted by various department and discusses to the Requestor the specifications, timeline, budget (and others) of their request/s
- Responsible on initial process of sourcing, negotiation of price and payment terms and other specifications.
- Communicate updates to requestor and vendor to avoid error on the delivery of goods and services
- Manages vendor commitments and service delivery
- Responsible on requesting Gate Pass/Work Permit to Admin/Facilities Dept. prior actual delivery
- Responsible on timely updating of all record files of Procurement, vendor payments and status
Vendor Accreditation and Assessment (20% of time)
- Handles vendor accreditation and assessment.
PEZA Administration and Reporting (20% of time)
- Assists in the filing of PEZA's 8105 (Farm-In / Proforma Invoice c/o Procurement) and 8106 Farm-Out (Data/Documents to be given by Local Finance) activities.
Process Improvement (10% of time)
- Develops and implements procurement processes, design and strategies to improve the business
- Coordinate with key persons to streamline the procurement process
What you'll need:
At least 2 years experience in a similar capacity (in a Contact Centre/BPO)
