APAC Finance Business Services Team is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable (AP), Travel & Expenses (T&E) Process Lead - to help lead and shape AP process for the region.
The AP / T&E Process Lead will report to the Head of APAC Business Finance Services. Based ideally at foodpanda's regional Service Delivery Centre in Phillipines. AP Process Owner will oversee the various aspects of Accounts Payable including but not limited to Travel and Expenses, Corporate AP and Quick Commerce AP.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient process operations
Expand the AP Delivery for the region
Performance and delivery to AP Process SLA and KPIs
Present performance results to relevant stakeholders in relevant governance forums (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly Business Review...etc)
Prioritization of AP Transformation projects and providing inputs that will drive process-related investment decisions and implementation
Ensuring the processes are compliant with any regulations and internal controls / risk management measures
Build and manage the AP / T&E service delivery team (both captive and outsourced)
Others:
Sets the strategic direction and Catelogue/Taxonomy maintenance e.g. Vendor Management, Payable Creation, Payment Processing, Reconciliation, T&E, Help Desk/ Inquiry Handling
Manage the development and maintenance of process documentation
Drive standardization across the region
Liaise with relevant stakeholders at Delivery Hero / regional teams (e.g. Procurement, Risk & Compliance) on managing relevant policies and procedures affecting the AP processes
Assess change requests, prepare decision making and foster implementation
Actively help to solve systemic or complex issues and problems in an effective manner
Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within AP processes
Own and manage the service delivery and performance of the SSC with defined SLAs/KPIs
Work with Transformation & Innovation team to drive continuous improvement of processes and IT enablers,
Support internal and external audits
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management or equivalent
7+ years of relevant accounting/controlling and AP, T&E operations experience, with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
Comprehensive experience in process design and/or optimization; experience with SSCs
Experience in managing captive teams / outsource providers
25 FTEs combined
Preferred Qualifications / Experiences:
Direct experience within a multi-national environment with a complex regional/country environment
Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, etc.
Strong communicator with the ability to influence, persuade and drive action.
Process-oriented with an understanding of both financial and operational controls
Proficient in Ariba (Procurement / Accounts Payable) and Concur (Travel & Expenses) systems
Familiar with CRM, ERP (SAP Preferred), Inventory management systems
Familiar with SQL, Tableau or alike
Familiar with Ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA or alike)
Strong analytical skills and who can foresee upstream and downstream impacts
Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft applications for analysis and reporting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
A creative mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom. You love creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation
