Primary Functions:
Supports the HeNe production line by improving the processes, attending to and assessing process issues and coming up to an effective resolution, designing jigs, process automations, establishing process controls, out of control action plans and criteria.
Qualifies new operators and recertify operators on annual basis.
Creates, revises or updates work instructions and other manufacturing documents and to implement those changes in production line.
Improves HeNe yield and reduce scrap.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
With relevant experience in mechanical design and simulation
Knowledgeable and with hands on experience in welding, glass sealing, glass extension process using blowtorch and brazing process.
Experience in Hene lasers, optics and lenses, glass fabrication is a plus.
With actual experience in Solidworks or any other mechanical design and simulation tool is a must.
Glass sealing, welding and brazing process familiarity and actual hands-on experience. * Knowledgeable in technical report writing, process optimization, work instruction creation.
Can adapt to dynamic work environment, fast-learner, good analytical skills.
Six Sigma training is a plus but not required.
