Determine process approaches and parameters.
Initiate and drive process yield/capability improvements.
Maintain high quality documentation on all products, processes and procedures.
Establish process controls for new products and key processes
Propose, review and evaluate processes.
Analyze and select components and equipment, as well as evaluate supplier capabilities.
Design and conduct independent experiments or tests.
Perform visual/mechanical failure and defect analysis.
Define problems and objectives, develop approach, analyze results and provide recommendations.
Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
Qualify and evaluate new materials.
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering Degree (ECE, ME, EE)
Experience as Process Engineer in a semiconductor company, an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a self-directed environment.
Working knowledge of SPC and DOE necessary. Knowledge in SAS Jmp is a plus.
General wafer fabrication knowledge and process engineering experience is preferred but not required.
