Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing set up as Process Engineer is required for this position.
Knowleagable in troubleshooting and investigation of process and jigs related problems
Preferably with knowledge in design and drafting using AUTOCAD and other design software
Must have background in quality tools but not limited to SPC, 7QC, 8D and FMEA
Must have knowledge in MS Office applications and ISO standards
Job Responsibilities:
Performs variety of process engineering functions encompassing new model preparations, new change of color development , quality and process troubleshooting and improvements, design and development of sub assembly processes, special tools, equipment, jigs and fixtures
Performs troubleshooting and investigation of process and jigs related problems and implements necessary corrective and improvement actions
Initiates production/ process improvements project to improve capability, productivity , quality and safety.
Performs necessary activities related to new model preparation and new change of color development
Uses quality tools such as FMEA, 7QC and 8D to prevent issue and produce solutions on all jig, fixture and equipmement to avoid failures and occurences.
Prepares process related documents such as operation standard, check sheet and necessary reports needed on the area
Prepares packaging designs of localized parts including prototyping and evaluation with respect to quality, cost and process considerations
