You will work closely with cross-functional teams-including Finance, Supplier Success, and Marketing-to ensure our pricing remains competitive while meeting profitability targets. This is a data-heavy role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with finance, marketing, and supplier success teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
Analyze large datasets using SQL and Looker to evaluate historical pricing, cost structures, and market trends.
Build financial models to assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue, margins, and overall profitability.
Ensure cost components and market variables are accurately integrated into pricing decisions.
Monitor financial performance of pricing strategies and recommend optimizations based on outcomes.
Support cross-functional teams by presenting data-driven pricing insights and communicating the financial implications clearly.
Implement robust data validation practices to ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing data.
RequirementsYears of Experience:
2-4 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst in ecommerce or the automotive aftermarket industry (required).
Background:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Solid understanding of pricing models, cost structures, and financial analysis.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
Tools and Software:
SQL (preferred)
Looker or other BI tools (preferred)
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling
Familiarity with other data analysis tools or programming languages is a plus
