Our group is based in our Philippine Technical Center (PTC) facility in Alabang, Muntinlupa. PTC has a dedicated development lab. It is also connected to a network of labs and test facilities that provides the ability for the engineers to use testers remotely located in other facilities of the company.
We are looking for a Principal Test Engineer to join our 8-bit Microcontroller Manufacturing Improvement Group in PTC.
As a Principal Test Engineer, you will be joining a team which is focused on working with state-of-the-art technologies to develop ATE test programs to ensure timely delivery of products to customer while maintaining high quality and yields. You will be working with design teams to define and develop test methods optimized for test cost and test coverage. You will also be working with engineers in Asia for new product introduction and production support.

Responsibilities:
Develop, recommend, and implement new test methodologies and cost-effective solutions to solve product test issues in Manufacturing.
Review and approve Test Program Changes as determined by MRB and internal engineering review.
Reduce the product test cost by improving yields and reducing test time.
Provide technical support to Manufacturing teams for production lot disposition & low yield analysis/debug.
Work with global engineering teams to maintain efficient and effective manufacturing process, driving cost down.
Define and execute strategies for the team in his/her capacity as a technical team leader.
Test code writing, timing/vector conversion, & loadboard/probe card design.
Perform and analyze ATE characterization data across split lots.
Provide technical leadership in resolving test software and hardware issues.
Lead cross-functional teams to perform key cost improvement projects.
Job Requirements
Job Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering major in Microelectronics. Master's degree in the same field is an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years working experience in product or test engineering with at least 8 years direct experience in semiconductor ATE testing.
Experience with Teradyne J750 ATE (preferred) or other similar ATE platforms such as Credence/LTX.
Good understanding of semiconductor test methodologies.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues.
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Strong scripting and programming skills. Experience using VBA, C, C++, Tcl, Perl or Python is an added advantage.
Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits.
Demonstrated ability to meet schedules.
