We are looking for a:
 
POLLUTION CONTROL / PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OFFICER
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of local and national environmental laws and regulations.
Ensure the company's operations comply with all relevant environmental standards and requirements.
Maintain records of permits, licenses, and other compliance documents.
Environmental Monitoring:
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of the facility to identify potential sources of pollution.
Monitor air, water, and soil quality to detect any deviations from acceptable standards.
Implement continuous environmental monitoring programs.
Waste Management:
Develop and oversee waste management programs to minimize the generation of hazardous waste.
Collaborate with relevant departments to implement proper waste disposal practices.
Ensure the proper documentation and reporting of waste management activities.
Pollution Prevention and Control:
Implement pollution control measures to minimize environmental impact.
Recommend and implement sustainable practices to reduce the carbon footprint.
Work with internal teams to identify and implement innovative solutions for pollution prevention.
Environmental Education and Training:
Conduct training sessions to raise environmental awareness among employees.
Provide guidance on pollution prevention measures and best practices.
Promote a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization.
Inspection and Evaluation:
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify potential issues.
Evaluate the condition of various components and systems to determine the need for preventive maintenance.
Scheduled Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all relevant equipment and facilities.
Perform routine maintenance tasks according to the established schedules, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of all preventive maintenance activities, including dates, procedures, and observations.
Update equipment manuals and documentation to reflect maintenance schedules and procedures.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot minor issues during preventive maintenance to prevent them from evolving into major problems.
Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve any unexpected challenges.
Participation in Training:
Stay informed about advancements in maintenance techniques and technologies.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to preventive maintenance.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless integration of preventive maintenance activities with overall operational goals.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding the status of equipment and potential issues.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for preventive maintenance activities.
Replenish supplies as necessary and report any shortages.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
A graduate of BS in Industrial Technology or any 4 year course
With or without experience
Has the ability to think analytically and creatively
High ethical standards and hardworking
Proficient in MS Office applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Google Sheet
Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills
Ability to make appropriate recommendations for analyzed data
Proficient verbal and written communications skills
Can easily adapt to an organizational culture with systems and procedures
Capable of working with less supervision and ability to multitask
Has a mindset to learn and experience new things
Can work under pressure and can meet deadlines
Works well with others
