Procurement Analyst performs business process and analytics work to identify opportunities for operational improvements within the organization to eliminate NVA and bring in efficiency. This position will have to work on simple reporting automation using excel, macro tools, develop programmable projects. Data Analytics would involve data crunching and analyses to provide quality data to the global teams, analytics for management consumption and for decision-making purposes, so it is very important that this post has the technical capability required of the job.. As Data Analyst, Procurement, duties will include assessing the efficiency of our process, system and tools, scheduling projects, analyzing data at hand and recommending/work on automation and program solutions.
Procurement Analyst Responsibilities:
Resolving day-to-day process and system issues, workflow mapping (as-is/to-be) whereby promoting operational consistency across global teams.
Analyzing and improving procurement operations by evaluating performance metrics.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, with clear project scopes, schedules.
Establishing effective communication channels with global sourcing and procurement teams' internal customers, site requesters, and suppliers to be able to get the message across when working on a critical project.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology graduate
Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in using Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) like MS SQL Server, MS Access, Supply Management Software/ERP (Oracle experience preferred)
Knowledge/experience in Data Analytics or BI Tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Hyperion is an advantage
Background in managing high visibility projects, project management is a plus
Advanced knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management.
Advanced knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
