Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the production process, including fermentation, bottling, and packaging, while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Lead and develop plant personnel to foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
Implement quality control procedures to meet company and regulatory standards.
Manage production schedules to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Conduct safety training and audits, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare weekly production reports, analyzing KPIs and recommending improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food and beverage or wine production.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of production processes and quality assurance.
Understanding of winemaking processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain processes.
