1. To obtain an adequate medical history from all examinees (Personal and Social History, Past Medical History, and Family History; and OB-Gyne History for female examinees)
2. To perform a complete physical examination of all examinees
3. To review and classify the pre-employment medical and diagnostic results.
4. To re-evaluate examinees with pending cases.
5. To review and sign all official medical certificate prior to its release
6. To conduct out-patient consultation, request for appropriate laboratory and diagnostic examinations, and prescribe the necessary treatment.
7. To refer examinees/patients to a medical specialist for further evaluation and management of their medical problems
8. To perform special procedures like Pap smear, aural irrigation, etc. on examinees/patients as requested.
9. To inform the Chief Examining Physician about problems/difficulties encountered in the PE Department during daily operations
10. To follow the company policies and quality management system at all times
11. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a licensed physician.
2. Must have pursued further studies through attendance in mandatory trainings, special courses, seminars or workshops, and postgraduate studies.
3. Must review and follow medical guidelines/standards set by the appropriate governing bodies (DOH/ILO) on the medical examination of workers (local or overseas).
4. Must have attended ISO 9001:2000 Awareness Course.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
6. Close attention to detail is essential
