Job Description
THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CEBU, MAKATI, ORTIGAS, DAVAO, AND BACOLOD
Responsibilities:
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
Full Stack experience preferred
Requirements:
At least 3 years professional experience as a Progammer/Developer
At least 3 years of solid PHP, Laravel/CodeIgniter experience, those with Native PHP experience can apply as well
Prior experience in various SDLC roles: development, architecture, requirements gathering, etc.
Experience with Postgres/MySQL or another mainstream relational database language
Strong knowledge / experience with PHP, Postgres/MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Excellent communication (written and oral)
Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment
Solid experience writing requirements documents, following through with good design with testing methodologies in place (for instance, using PHPTest) and documentation (for instance, using PHPDoc)
Can use GIT for code management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to work on a fixed schedule
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
This position is open to Cebu, Bacolod, Makati, Ortigas and Davao
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AJAX/accessing Restful APIs is preferred
Experience with using local databases is preferred
Experience with Scrum & AGILE software development methodologies
Prior working experience in UX and UI designs
Understanding of server-side technologies
