Overview
VesselsValue was founded in 2009 having built a unique online platform that automatically values commercial shipping vessels. Completely built in-house, the complex algorithms and extensive databases are maintained by the Development team in Stoke. The company has a high presence of R&D, looking to further enhance the services available by utilising the latest technology and huge datasets to digitalise the industry.

Requirements
Key skills required:
Commercial experience as a Developer, minimum 1 years to 5 years +
Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel
PHP 7+ including OOP practices including testing
One of MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL, GraphQL or MS SQL
Version control experience (Git preferred)
Experience in qualification and peer preview
Highly proficient in written and spoken English
JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript, Node and/or jQuery
Responsive/mobile first design
Issue tracking software (such as Jira)
Experience in using local development environment (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
Python, C++
API's/REST
Cypress / Jest Experience
Experience in using design patterns (such as SOLID)
Advantageous skills:
JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript, Node and/or jQuery
Responsive/mobile first design
Issue tracking software (such as Jira)
