About the Role
As a PHP Developer, you are responsible for creating, testing, and programming apps to automate business processes. You will also be involved in the end-to-end application development life cycle. Reporting to the Founder, you will ensure the alignment of application architecture and user experience requirements, optimise web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintain brand consistency across the web page.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the team.
Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
Prepare and maintain all applications utilising standard development tools.
Utilise backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
You will be working closely with the Web Developer to accomplish projects.
About You
Ideally, we are looking for developers that have Vue.JS or React.JS experience but as long as you have a strong experience in PHP, then feel free to apply as we will still accommodate you! Aside from the required skills, we are also looking for professional who has soft skills like:

Position Prerequisites
Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer.
In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework.
Knowledgeable in Shopify responsive design and development.
Strong Debugging Skills - can diagnose issues with tools or scripting methods to replicate issues.
Knowledgeable in software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
Experience in MySQL profiling and query optimisation.
Creative and efficient problem solver.
