The product is supported via its extensive connectivity to banks, payments gateways, finance systems, meter data feeds, and built-in workflow automation and automated notification - so it goes well beyond a simple customer billing platform.
Our client's success is attributed to their ability to design, build and support the software solutions which ensure its clients can respond and adapt swiftly to market and legislative demands. They have a deep knowledge of the industry and have been around for 16+ years now.

Let's jump into the specifics of the gig
The tech stack you will be working with includes:
PHP, Laravel, and SugarCRM framework
Cloud - application is currently running on AWS and they are looking to utilize more of the components such as Lambda, Aurora, Elastic Cache
Database - they are currently using AWS RDS but migrating to AWS Aurora
Serverless architecture Testing - They follow the TDD methodology
This role is going to be instrumental in fulfilling the company's growth plans and delivering on key projects.
The key components to make up your role include:
Provide maintenance and support within the assigned area of responsibility
Undertake a range of analysis, design, software development, testing and maintenance activities
Under limited guidance adhere to high quality standards in software development
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and timely resolution of production issues
Understand application security & identify problems and fixes
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure high quality standards in delivery
Identify and implement scalable performance improvements
Work closely with other members in the team to deliver exceptional services across the business
Demonstrate teamwork and foster good communication with departmental/ functional colleagues as well as other staff and management
Able to communicate at a technical and non-technical level
Aid and support to other members of the team in the performance of their roles and responsibilities
Act in accordance with all policies, procedures practices, and guidelines in the performance of accountabilities
Take all reasonable care for their own and other safety and wellbeing while at work.
Promote and demonstrate a 'can do' attitude
Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of products, technology, process and team development
Requirements:
About you
Bachelor's degree in IT or similar
At least 4 years of commercial PHP Development experience
SQL
Designing, developing and implementing Ajax driven web-based solutions
REST Web Services
Design Patterns, OOA and OOD
Experience with large volume, low latency data processing
Data Security
GIT Source Control
A good understanding of accessibility, web standards and best practices
Detailed oriented and highly organized
Advantageous Skills/Technologies
Experience with CRM systems
Exposure to Agile/SCRUM
TDD (Test Driven Development)
SuiteCRM or SugarCRM
MySQL
LAMP
JavaScript
jQuery / backbone.js
