Newzoo has built a proprietary interactive analytics platform on top of its market leading data. The Newzoo Games Taxonomy is an integral part of the Newzoo Platform, allowing clients to slice and dice our data on a variety of elements for their analysis. Newzoo is looking to expand its team with analysts who analyse videogames with the Newzoo Games Taxonomy in the Philippines.
As the Philippines Lead Game Analyst, you will head the local team of Game Analysts applying the Newzoo Games Taxonomy on videogames. You will use your network to recruit analysts for the Philippines team and help set up Newzoo's activities in the country. You will know the taxonomy in and out, also analysing games yourself using the taxonomy, and will be a thought leader on how to further improve it. You will be responsible to expand the games on which the Newzoo Games Taxonomy is applied and for the quality of game analysis done by the team. As Philippines Lead Game Analyst, you are the primary contact person for Newzoo's activities in the Philippines and are in frequent contact with Analysts from our Amsterdam office.
For this role, Newzoo is looking for someone who is deeply passionate about games and the video games industry. Playing games is a big hobby of yourself and you have played many games in your life. You have a network of people who share your passion for games in the Philippines. You know the different gaming platforms and know your way around frequently used social and video websites by gamers. You are organized and are good at setting up, running, and monitoring efficient processes. You are capable to manage projects from start to finish and already have experience doing so. All candidates must be fluent in English. Newzoo is hiring a contractor for this position for 6 months. If you are successful, this job can turn into a permanent position at Newzoo.

- Be the primary contact person for Newzoo for all its activities in the Philippines.
- Lead a local team of analysts focused on data ingestion into Newzoo's databases.
- Be able to use your network to find and recruit qualified analysts.
- Perform in-depth analysis on the gameplay and user experience of videogames using the Newzoo Games Taxonomy.
- Drive the application of the Newzoo Games Taxonomy on many games and the data quality of analysis and data ingestion.
- Setup and monitor efficient processes and workflows.
- Manage new projects for Newzoo's activities in the Philippines from start to finish.
- Be a thought leader on how to further improve the Newzoo Games Taxonomy.
- Find and set up a local office space.
