Description:
Has the responsibility in the collection, analysis and the provision of relevant scientific information in (species) for the OPU and other stakeholders. Build and maintain a broad network of relationships with international and local key opinion leaders in the OPU. Provide technical services to key customers in the OPU and to support and train technical colleagues in the country. Lead and coach a team within the responsible region. Ensures that the team has goal clarity and knows the tactical direction to achieve the goals. Practice inspiring behaviors to drive winning spirit
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supports the implementation of OPU (Companion Animals) strategy in close collaboration with the OPU Business Segment Head and ROPU (Companion Animals) Technical Manager
Support the country technical team in managing and solving escalated technical issues
Provide in depth technical training and consultation regarding the assigned product/s / disease area to country colleagues and key customers
Initiate, coordinates and follow up on field trials within the country
Assist the business segment Head in developing marketing strategies and brand plans for assigned products
Requirements:
Doctorate degree (e.g. PhD, MD) and/or Veterinarian
Broad knowledge about Companion Animals
Strong business mindset
High Integrity and ethical standards
Flexibility, open to change, adapts to the changing situations
Strong Analytical ability
Good listening skills, strong communicator
Self-supporting, takes initiative, autonomous
Fluency in both written and spoken English
