Job Description
The Sales Support Officer is responsible for being the last line of defence against anomalies to a customer's order. This could include; inaccurate provisioning of an order, the customer enduring a bad experience, ensuring customer has been provided with accurate and clear information and saving customers and orders where applicable.
The Sales Support Officer is to maintain and deliver great customer experience while conducting investigations, resolving orders, handling high-risk customers, dealing with complex order and customer queries.
The Sales Support Officer is to also provide recommendations or feedback (where applicable) to Operations Leaders if they come across any gaps. The Sales Support Officer also may be required to assist with ad-hoc tasks or projects where requested.

Desirable
Sales and/or Customer Service experience in a BPO setting
Essential
Excellent communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Applicants who supported Telstra in other companies are subject for rehire eligibility check*
Highschool graduates - with at least 1 year BPO experience or at least 2 years in college - no experience required but is an advantage
Priority will be given to successful applicants with valid NBI clearance and government numbers.
What will a normal day look like?
You will engage customers, build rapport, retain & save customers by understanding their needs and offering value added solutions that will drive brand loyalty and advocacy for Telstra. You will also be required to:
Navigate through multiple systems and customers whilst maintaining customer engagement
Address concerns from new and existing customers
Work a rotating roster, Monday - Sunday, 7am - 4pm (potential weekend and overtime shifts)
Work towards achievable Customer Service, Saves and Sales Support targets and KPIs
Provide class leading customer experiences
