Tax Analyst - Tax/PEZA
To execute the daily processes required to file GST, EWT and PEZA compliance reporting on a timely basis for all Philippine entities in the TeleTech structure. Responsibilities also include BIR audit support, BIR/LGU filing support, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, compliance with US GAAP SOX requirements and interactions with other TeleTech departments and duties as necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of GST and EWT calculations including all supporting filings and documentation
Preparation and review of PEZA compliance reporting
Preparation and review of account/balance sheet reconciliations of transaction tax accounts
Coordinate BIR and LGU filings
Assist with the tax requests in accordance with the preparation of statutory financial statements in Philippines
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with items in accordance with BIR audits and, or inquiries
Assist with special projects as assigned
Job Specifications:
BS/BA in Accounting or Tax
PEZA experience
Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
2 years of progressive tax and PEZA experience
Experience with professional services accounting a plus
