Description
Service Specialists provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions to an established route. Deliver pest solutions to customers that include commercial businesses, retail stores, food and beverage processing plants, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts with effective communications both oral and written. Identify customer needs and sell additional solutions to enhance pest prevention and elimination. Maintain organization and timeliness of a route.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
• Provide high quality pest elimination services to commercial job sites in a timely and professional manner.
• Achieve budgeted service targets.
• Professionally communicate pest solutions to customers and solve their pest problems.
• Efficiently manage your assigned route through scheduling, product and equipment inventory, collections, customer record maintenance, and regular customer communication.
• Ensure sales leads are actioned or passed on to sales staff.
• Follow the client's pest elimination methods, procedures and protocols, complying with the Pest Elimination procedures manual.
• To familiarize with and act upon the provisions of the quality system appropriate to the responsibility of the position.
• Drive and maintain a company-provided service vehicle safely and professionally.
• Ensure all client's equipment in use by customers is covered by loan/lease agreement and returned to the divisional administrator.
• Continuously train in company and national regulations maintaining required pesticide licensing.
• Adhere to company OHS policies, procedures and rules and follow safe work practices.
• Ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory and corporate standards.
• Assist clients to understand there responsibility in audit compliance and review the Pest Elimination service onsite before they are audit externally.
• Take on some additional tasks when the Team Lead is away from the business
