The Permit Design Senior Team Lead (STL) is accountable for ensuring achievement in established performance metrics for their designated program/team(s). The Permit Design STL reports to the Design Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
Optimize staffing and drive team productivity efficiency via training to ensure task volume projections are met
Optimize team best practices via establishing content (SOP's, Tools, and Resources) and conduct quality/error training to ensure task quality projections are met
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with Direct Reports ensure your and their thorough understanding of:
o the program's collective goal and benefits
o Their life goals and career path
o the expectations of their role
o Your and their expectations of each other
Monitor and respond to escalations and questions in client support chat and emails
Conduct weekly client calibration meetings
Create and implement team initiatives to reinforce improvement in KPIs
Conduct Final Verification of designer hours and designer production output to ensure payroll, employee incentives, and invoicing data is correct
Provide weekly reporting on permit program performance to management
Conduct preliminary Operations interview for program applicants
Supervise the delegation of non-core responsibilities to team members who are demonstrating proficiency with their core responsibilities

Requirements
College Graduate with major in Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Renewable Energy is preferred.
Other engineering degrees can be considered depending on professional background. * Applicant should have at least 1 year experience of handling a team composing of at least 30 engineers/direct reports.
Has professional background in AutoCAD design (leadership/designer) and or Electrical Engineering
