Role Overview and Objectives
The People and Culture Advisor's primary responsibility is creating and maintaining a workplace that focuses on employees, their well-being, growth, and providing a high level of employee experience.
The People and Culture Advisor will be responsible for supporting employees, managers, and the management team on day-to-day people operational matters, producing and maintaining up-to-date policies and people data, understanding the pulse of the organization, advocating and representing the People of Datacom Asia on areas of improvement or change that are important for the People
Role Responsibilities
The core objective and responsibilities of the People and Culture Advisor include:
Creating and maintaining a strongly supportive and engaging culture
Provide consults, support managers, and employees on People policies and procedures including employee relations, engagement, and performance management matters.
Educating employees on People related tools, tracking, ensuring compliance, and providing overall governance.
Supports execution of Group People initiatives and plans
People's administrative functions include generation of letters, contracts, and data for analysis
Constant improvement initiatives to keep Datacom at the forefront of People's practices
Constant engagement with the team to understand the pulse, proactively address concerns, and work towards an environment that attracts and retains talents.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and market development to ensure that we are constantly keeping up with market changes
Requirements
Knowledge
Knowledge and application all about Labour and employment regulations and practices
Well-versed with Labour Law and Employment Act of countries where we have offices in Asia
Skills
Excellent written skills - for production of policy, issuing contract and documentation of performance management activities, pre-sales content
MS Office Skills - PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Fresh Thinking - proven ability to apply fresh thinking to create additional value for clients, customers, and employees
Experience
Workplace support experience in a contact center environment
HR-related activities and programs Industrial relations experience
Others
Ability to work in the office
Proficient in verbal and written communication
A team player
