Job Description This is a remote position. Job Summary: In your position as People Advocate, you will communicate with leaders, line managers, and employees to express new ideas, resolve complex employee relations issues, suggest solutions, and encourage team performance and culture. Ultimately, you should be able to act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes. Responsibilities: Employee Relations Administers end-to-end employee disciplinary action process, temperature check with associates, and exit management Advise on employment law concerns and execute the due process (includes termination due to just and authorized causes) Track, monitor, and report corrective actions and exit management (includes conducting exit interviews) Update company leaders with policy and procedure updates Assist the leaders in the implementation of a performance-related programs such as Performance Improvement Plans and Individual Development Plans Employee Satisfaction Assess employee needs and morale through focus group discussions, employee surveys, and other available means. Promote high team performance, retention, and corporate culture. Encourage a highly motivated and productive workforce by recommending interventions that promote team performance and culture. Suggest and perform interventions to help leaders and managers in team management Reports Create and present reports related to employee relations such as client reports, employee satisfaction, and survey results Advise the leaders on the next steps that need to be taken to improve employee satisfaction and retention. Other People and Culture reports as needed Other Tasks Conduct the Company's new hire orientation (HR Talk) as needed Other related duties outside of those stated above may be given as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field At least a year of experience handling employee/labor relations In-depth understanding of employee policies and labor laws Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to adapt to changes in working conditions (schedule and location) With excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills Great logical and verbal reasoning skills. Good problem solving and information processing skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
