Assign and review ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for pediatric services
Code all pediatric encounters, including well-child visits, immunizations, and sick visits
Ensure all codes align with current regulations and payer guidelines
Review clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
Identify and correct coding errors proactively
Resolve coding-related claim denials and coordinate with the billing team on resubmissions
Stay current on coding updates and industry changes
Train staff on documentation standards to support accurate coding
Follow team and/or client's proper procedures, policies, and methodologies as instructed.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
This role is offered on a consultancy basis with a minimum 6-month contract, subject to renewal based on performance and business needs.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC AAPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS/CCS-P AHIMA)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric coding
Solid knowledge of medical terminology
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Clear and effective communication and organizational skills
With strong internet connection of at least 100 mbps
Able to work from home with reliable internet and a backup connection.
